Committee 2014-2015

Amie Smith - President

"Hi, i'm Amie. I am interested in all pagan paths, but am especially called to Druidry and the Avalonian Goddess tradition. I am a third year Ancient History and Egyptology student and im very excited to be president this year!"

William Clayton - Treasurer, Publicist
"Hi, I'm William, and I'm mostly Eclectic - I just mix together various aspects of different pagan branches, so I have wide range of variations in some of my beliefs. I study Ancient History at university, mostly Ancient Rome, which fits in well with my beliefs, and I get to study myths which are part of my faith in class!"

Hemlata Bisnauthsing - Secretary

Mandy Skeels - Social Secretary (Honourary Committee Member)
"Hi I am Mandy and I am training to be a Priestess of Brigdhe and am on the first spiral to be a Priestess of Avalon. I am also an Awenydd (Bard) with the Anglesey Druid Order. I have been organising events for Swansea Pagan Soc for three years and I am delighted to be part of this year’s shenanigans! Blessed be!"

***

The members within the Pagan Society here at Swansea University are a very varied bunch of students. We welcome people from any religion or lack thereof, any culture, gender or sexuality. The more varied we are, the more interesting! We absolutely promote tolerance and so we treat others the way we want to be treated. We also aim to work with other societies around the University, such as the Ancient History society, Geology, Conservation, LGBT, Christian Union, ISOC and JSOC.
